Course objectives

The Doctoral Program in Political Science aims to pursue innovative research within the context of a close dialogue between representative democracy and forms of direct and participatory democracy, including at the European and global levels. This research is capable of establishing new ways of rebuilding trust in democratic political institutions, especially in the wake of recent health and strategic-military crises.

The educational objectives of the Doctoral Program in Political Science are:

- to provide doctoral students with training that can be easily applied to research and national and international institutions;

- to integrate a solid theoretical and conceptual foundation with mastery of research methodologies, including the conscious use of European Union languages, to foster the ability to innovatively interpret the problems and transformations of contemporary society.
