Joint Faculty-Student Commission

A Joint Commission has been established within the Department. It is composed of student representatives on the Department Council and an equal number of faculty members from the Department, elected by the Department Council to ensure, where possible, the presence of faculty members from all departmental programs.

The Commission elects its President from among its faculty members according to the procedures established in the Joint Faculty-Student Commission's Operating Regulations.

The Joint Commission remains in office for two years; members whose term of office expires are reinstated according to the same procedure followed for the formation of the Commission.

The Departmental Joint Commission performs the following tasks:

a) expresses opinions on the activation and closure of programs;

b) monitors the curriculum and the quality of teaching, as well as the student services provided by professors and researchers, and identifies indicators for evaluating their results (see Article 12 of the Regulations of the Department of Political and Legal Sciences).

The Joint Committee of the Department of Political and Legal Sciences is currently composed of the following:
